  • WATER STATUS
    • The Boil Water Order has been lifted! As per the Clinton County Health Department, our water sampling has passed all of the required testing and is safe for consumption.
    • Water has been restored to ALL of the park. If you do not have water, please refer to the section below before calling the office.
  • We have cleaned up the playground and made it safe for the kids to avoid an unsuspecting child going there and getting hurt.
  • We have additional resources working within the park in the upcoming days – please let them work.
  • We have started removing campers from sites and repairing sites.
  • As we are able to move around more, we will begin general clean up.
  • David will contact any camper owner who we feel will need to be moved for site or camper repairs and will formulate a plan.  Your options will be the parking lot at the front of the lot or temporarily to one of our vacant sites assigned by David.  Know this is temporary please accept what is assigned to you. Once we have everyone camping again safely, we can make final site selection.

TRASH – PLEASE HELP US TO HELP YOU:

  • RESCUED ITEMS – If you have “saved” something that you found among the debris that is still good, keep these items back away from the edge of the road so that our crews do not pick these items up thinking that it is trash.
  • HOUSEHOLD TRASH – please bring ALL trash to the usual location on the South side of the park.
  • NON-METAL FLOOD DEBRIS
    • We will have our crews going around the park collecting NON METAL FLOOD DEBRIS.
  • METAL FLOOD DEBRIS – (PLEASE separate the metal from other debris for easier pickup)
    • We will have our crews going around the park collecting METAL

HELP US HELP YOU! With all of the damage that we have had, there is bound to be some hiccups as we move forward. Here is a list of some relatively simple things that you can try yourself before notifying us in the office:

  • IF YOU HAVE NO POWER – in the event that you have no power. Some campers have been unplugged and some breakers turned off to some trailers. Please check the following:
    • Make sure your camper is plugged in firmly and even try to unplug it and plug it back in.
    • If you have a breaker at the box where you plug in (not all sites do), make sure that it is turned ON. If you are unsure, turn it off and then back on again.
    • Make sure that your power cord is still secure where it goes into your camper. If it is a removable cord, unplug it and plug it back in and tighten the locking ring.
    • Check the breakers inside your camper – if you are unsure, turn them ALL off, and then turn on the MAIN one first, followed by each of the smaller ones.
  • IF YOU HAVE NO WATER OR LOW WATER PRESSURE – In the event that you are not getting any water into your camper, please check the following:
    • Start at the spigot where you connect to out water system and unhook your hose. Then try turning the water on at the spigot. If you have do not have water at the spigot, you have no water – please notify the office. If you do have water at the spigot, continue as follows:
    • Reconnect your hose to the spigot, but before you turn you’re the spigot back on, disconnect your hose from the camper and then run the water through the hose to flush out any potential debris.
    • While that is flushing out, MOST (not all) campers have a screen where the water connects to the camper – check this for any debris and if necessary, remove it and rinse it off.
    • Now reconnect the hose to your camper, turn it on at the spigot, and go inside. If still no water at your faucets, you may need to remove and clean the aerators.
    • Some toilets also have valves in them that may get clogged up. Most residential toilets can be cleaned, but not RV toilets. It may have to be removed and replaced.
  • IF YOU HAVE NO SEPTIC – Please inspect your septic lines for damage as well. In the event that yours are damaged or missing, PLEASE refrain from using it until repaired. Most campers have holding tanks that could last you a while.
